What is a noun?

A noun is a person, a place, a thing and an animal. 

               A person such as Judy.
                       A place such as school.
                               A thing such as book
                                         An animal such as dog

Hey, did you know that nouns can be singular or plurals.

What is a singular noun?  

A singular noun names only 1 thing, for example apple.

For singular nouns we use "a" or "an"

         A cat                    An apple

                                         

What is a plural noun?   

A plural noun names more than 2 thing, for example, apples.                                                                        

For plural we use "some"
